U-EK230E is a switch with thermal protection for standard and explosion-proof motors (Ex) is a protection for motors equipped with PTC type winding temperature sensors.
In the case of EX motors, the device must be installed outside the danger zone. Mounted on a DIN rail (35 mm wide).
The device continuously monitors the resistance of connected motor temperature sensors. Failure is indicated by the LED indicator. It is possible to restart the fan after the motor has cooled down and the breaker has been reset.
