POLYLACK K and KR – fireproof intumescent paste
POLYLACK K and KR is a swelling paste in the form of a thick plastering putty. The surface with the POLYLACK paste applied on it is protected against the spread of the flame. When exposed to high temperatures during a fire, the paste creates a foamy carbon layer on the thermoinsulating surface, which stops the burning of the polymer insulating coating at an early stage.

POLYLACK intumescent paste is designed to fill voids, unevenness, crevices and dilatation and other free micro and macro spaces created during fire protection of installations such as cables, cable trays, combined installation transitions – as an auxiliary material – filling, sealing.
Minimum substrate thickness:
120 mm – concrete walls
125 mm – walls made of plasterboard
150 mm – walls made of solid brick and cellular concrete
150 mm – reinforced concrete and cellular concrete ceilings
