PS25 headband – fireproof swelling band
The PS25 fireproof band is intended for fire protection of combustible pipes up to 250 mm in diameter.
The band is made of an elastic band made of thermoplastic materials containing dispersed graphite with the addition of fillers and process oils. The band swells under the influence of temperature above 140 degrees Celsius and covers the hole after the fired installation.
It comes in two versions:
- ready-made bands in sizes from 50 mm to 250 mm
- band in rolled form for self preparation for a given pipe size
Minimum substrate thickness:
120 mm – concrete walls
125 mm – walls made of cardboard and plasterboard
150 mm – ściany z cegły pełnej i betonu komórkowego
