ETCE meets<br \/>\nthe requirements of fire class EI 60 S \/ EI 90 S \/ EI 120 S. The damper casing<br \/>\nalso fulfils the requirements of leakage class C according to EN 1751.<br \/>\nFire damper is available both with a built-in electrical actuator and with a fuse<br \/>\nmechanism.<\/p>\n<p>ETCE fire damper is designed for installation in a wall or intermediate floor<br \/>\nfor circular duct connection. The damper casing is manufactured from hotgalvanised<br \/>\nsheet steel and the blade from fire-insulating calcium silicate<br \/>\nmaterial.<\/p>\n<p>The fire damper is installed inside the fire compartment construction element<br \/>\naccording to the installation instructions. The damper is equipped with a<br \/>\nVeloduct joint, which provides air tight duct installation.<br \/>\nETCE motorized dampers have passed a durability test of 10 000 cycles<br \/>\n(open\/close) and can be used also for daily ventilation purposes. The use of<br \/>\na motorized damper enables automatic function testing (e.g. by our control<br \/>\nand monitoring system FICO) and the use of a smoke-detector-based release<br \/>\nsystem. The motor is equipped with built-in microswitches for both open and<br \/>\nclosed position.<\/p>\n<p>When using our control and monitoring system FICO, the actuator is always<br \/>\nof type 24 V. See Fl\u00e4kt Woods control and monitoring system FICO-128 or<br \/>\nFICO-2. The damper is also available with electrical actuator of 230 V.<br \/>\nThe damper version with the fuse mechanism is always equipped with<br \/>\nmicroswitch (close position).<\/p>\n<p>Motorized ETCE damper is available also with stainless steel damper casing<br \/>\n(sizes \u00d8100-630).
