Fire Sealant 1200°C
One-component mass based on sodium silicate for sealing joints exposed to temperatures up to + 1200 ° C.
Usage:
- sealing places exposed to direct contact with fire, eg chimneys, stoves, hearths, grills, boilers etc.
- fixing and sealing elements made of stone, concrete and cast iron, eg chimney liners
- sealing and grouting of fireproof bricks and blocks
- sealing the elements of the flue pipes
Features:
- after curing, resistant to temperatures up to + 1200 ° C (resistant to direct contact with fire)
- heat-resistant
- well adhered to bricks, chamotte, concrete, stone and cast iron
- does not contain asbestos
- it does not crumble and break in static joints
- resistant to SO2, SO3 and NO2 (applies to concentrations typical for heaters, fireplaces and stoves for home use)
- easy to apply regardless of the shape of the surface
- after hardening, non-elastic (not suitable for dilatation)
